Absolutely spot on! Higher power, MUCH higher power is undoubtedly the one area that neeeds to be tackled first - take up of DAB may well be reported as healthy, but in my own experience as a retailer has only taken off since radio manufacturers succumbed to putting FM on them too. The 'DAB only' sets I used to sell, including the PC dongles, bombed, and anything with a simple short built-in rod antenna like those dongles, and the iRiver or the fated Virgin Lobster just can't hack it on the move. Great technology but let's try and utilise it (mind you, whatever happened to Slideshow?). Who's going to pay for high power TXs though? Only point you make that is a slight issue with me IMHO is the quality one. On the contrary I think there are a significant number of people who don't like, in fact can't/won't even listen to the low bitrates of sone stations; those operators who operate these 'daleks' give the service a bad name.

Dusty - when you say "step 3 starting this Summer" - does this means you have plans to introduce DAB+ into Ireland in the foreseeable future?
