I remember "promoting" DAB in the early days by standing next to an Arcam in a tent, offering demos, at some large balloon oriented OB in the West Country. If memory serves I was wearing a large baggy DAB TOMORROWS WIRELESS polo shirt (probably a mans), looking, uh probably like a man, and the whole thing couldn't have been less sexy if I'd been wearing wellies. Which I was, come to think about it. And not in a good way.

No wonder I didn't get any enquiries. I am not sure if I meant that to be an analogy, a demonstration of the awkward style of DAB promotion in the early days, which I feel did us no favours, or if I am merely trying to exorcise a painful memory...

Basically if we'd have got a bunch of leggy tarts in to throw £50 notes around and fake orgasms whilst listening to Flix, Music From The Movies on that Roke Manor portable, DAB might be doing better than it is. And Flix might have whole new cult following.

A "Tits out" approach rather than a "tits up" one, maybe.

Or maybe not.
